Refund Policy
Through our website https://www.theorieja.nl we sell digital products and services. As a consumer you have a 14-day cooling-off period — see chapter 5. In addition, the statutory rights below apply in case of defects.
Problems with digital content
When digital content or a digital service does not function properly, we provide free repair or a solution without unreasonable delay and within a reasonable period, taking into account the nature of the service. (Our service standard is to respond and repair within two working days where possible.)
Solutions for problems
If the defect cannot be remedied within a reasonable period or the defect is serious, you as a consumer have the choice between two legal remedies:
- Termination (dissolution) of the digital service with refund of the amount you paid. For time-based access, you receive the remaining portion back for the period in which non-conforming service would take place.
- Price reduction proportional to the extent and duration of the non-conformity, when you want to keep the digital service despite the defect.
(Note: a threshold such as 'only if less than 25% is used' does not apply; the legal remedies apply as soon as the conditions for non-conformity are met.)
Minor defects
If it is a minor defect (e.g. typo, incorrect grammar, wrong image) that does not significantly affect the functionality or use of the digital service, you cannot immediately terminate the service. We correct such defects free of charge and within a reasonable period. If the defect is not remedied in time or does affect use, the remedies above apply.
Refund process
Refunds are processed via bank transfer (bank/card). We pay back without unreasonable delay and at the latest within 14 days after we have agreed on a refund with you or after the termination has become legally valid. Where possible, we use the same payment method as in the original transaction, unless you agree to another method.
Right of withdrawal — 14-day cooling-off period
As a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases, counted from the conclusion of the agreement. We do not ask you to waive this right of withdrawal: even though you get immediate access to your package, you can withdraw within 14 days without giving any reason. To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to info@theorieja.nl within that period; you may also use the model form below. We will refund the full purchase amount without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have received your withdrawal, using the same payment method as the original transaction. Model withdrawal form (only fill in and return if you wish to withdraw from the agreement): ‘To Theorieja, Johan van Hasseltweg 40, 1022 WV Amsterdam, info@theorieja.nl — I hereby inform you that I withdraw from our agreement concerning the delivery of the following digital service: [package name], ordered on [date], name: [your name], account email address: [email address], date: [today’s date].’
